AbstractThe belated Salafism and its most prominent men:
It can be divided into two categories: one: adopt the scientific method of advocacy, persuasion and argument; and the second: taken violence and murder to disseminate their ideas.
Reformist Salafism: is a political and intellectual movement aimed at reviving the revival of Islamic civilization, freeing the Muslim world from Western colonialism, and unifying the Islamic nation by calling for a return to the Quran, Sunnah and good Salaf as a basis for advancement and emancipation. including The ideas of a group of scientists: Jamal al-Din al-Afghani, Mohamed Abdo, and Mohamed Rashid Rida.
But Jihadism Salafism: It is an Islamic political and ideological movement that adopted the ideas of the first and intermediate Salafism and worked to implement it under the slogan of jihad in the name of Allah. The followers of this movement adopted the violence and the sword to spread their ideas, if you are not them you are their enemy, and the most prominent preachers: Abu al-Maududi, Sayyid Qutb, and bin Laden.
It called for reformist Salafism to use the mind and to make room for it; for it is the grace of God over His slaves, which man knows the right from falsehood, whereas Jihadism said that the transfer is the origin and not the role of the mind in that.
The reformist Salafist has also sought to reform Muslim human societies and keep abreast of global development, while jihadism sees Muslim communities as misguided ignorant communities
